Is residue hydrogenation in China currently used only to refine residue before using it as a feedstock for heavy oil catalysis? Are there any residue hydrocracking units in the country? ?
The tail oil separated after hydrogenation is an excellent raw material for lubricants; it does not go through the catalytic coking process typical of lubricant production
