Patent Abstract: The present invention provides a hydrogenation reforming catalyst for low-quality diesel rich in cyclic hydrocarbons, as well as its preparation method and application. Based on the weight of the final catalyst, it comprises the following components: a) HZSM-23 molecular sieve, in an amount of 5~25 wt%, preferably 5~22 wt% ; b) Modified Y molecular sieve, in an amount of 5~35 wt%, preferably 7~28 wt% ; c) Macroporous alumina, in an amount of 15~65 wt%, preferably 18~60 wt% ; d) The active component is one or more of the metal oxides belonging to Groups VIB and VIII, wherein the content of Group VIB metals in terms of oxides is 10~30 wt%, and the content of Group VIII metals in terms of oxides is 3~15 wt% ; In the catalyst, mesopores with a pore size of 3–6 nm account for 38–60% of the total pore volume ; Preferably, 3–6 nm mesopores account for 40–55% of the total pore volume. The catalyst used for the hydrorefining of low-quality diesel rich in cyclic hydrocarbons can effectively enhance the catalyst’s ability to handle large molecules in the oil. It improves the cetane number of the diesel while maintaining its yield, and effectively reduces its freezing point.
