Troubleshooting of backwash filters

Drawing on my past experience, I’ll describe the process for dealing with problems that occur in backwash filters. First, it’s necessary to determine which group of filters is having the issue, and then address that specific group of filters separately, carrying out frequent rinsings； At the same time, the flushing time for the tube bundle can be adjusted individually, allowing for an increase in the flushing time of the tube bundle ； Then check the cleanliness of the raw materials; if they are indeed clean, then inspect the pressure difference gauge of the filter, as well as to see whether the solenoid valve of the filter is operating properly ； Finally, there is the issue of clogging in the filter tube bundle. In such cases, the filter has to be taken out for cleaning or sent to the manufacturer to be burned to ensure thorough destruction of the contaminants. Filters are typically made up of 5 layers of sintered mesh or 5 layers of wedge-shaped wound wire; flushing has a significant effect on the surface, but its impact on the interior of the filter mesh is less pronounced ；
