The Gulei Petrochemical PSA hydrogen purification unit was successfully delivered and put into operation

On May 18, the delivery and commissioning ceremony for the PSA hydrogen purification unit project at Gulei Petrochemical, which was undertaken under EPC contract by the Southwest Chemical Engineering Research and Design Institute (hereinafter referred to as the \"Southwest Institute\”), was held, marking the official transition of this project into the production preparation phase. This project utilizes the patented pressure swing adsorption (PSA) hydrogen purification technology developed by the Southwest Research Institute to purify the hydrogen-rich off-gases generated as a by-product of the styrene and ethylene production units at Gulei Petrochemical into high-quality hydrogen with a purity of 99.99%. This approach enables the value-added utilization of industrial by-products, contributing to the efficient and low-carbon development of the industrial park.
