Is a decanter used to separate the liquid phase from the solid phase, or can it also be used for separating gas and liquid phases? What is the working principle, and what is the purpose of the condenser in the production of the refrigerant F22?
Condensers are used for gas-liquid or liquid-liquid separation
The decanter is used to separate water, but its effectiveness is average
A decanter is used for buffered drainage; the aqueous phase can be drained from the bottom. A coagulator functions through packing filtration, and it’s not that important.
