On September 3, a public notice was issued regarding the approval process for Shandong Qianming New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 11,200 tons of fluoroboron compounds, 100,000 tons of sulfates, and 3,530 tons of advanced boron isotope materials per year. It is reported that the total investment for this project amounts to 1,285,656,600 yuan, and it will be constructed to the south of Zhimai River Road and to the east of Zongsan Road, within the Gaoqing Chemical Industry Park. The main construction components of this project include: a boron trifluoride fluorination plant with an annual capacity of 7,000 tons, a boron trifluoride complex production plant with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons, a boron trifluoride gas purification plant with an annual capacity of 200 tons, a sulfate production plant with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons, a boron trifluoride isotope separation plant with a capacity of 500 tons, a high-purity boric acid production plant with a capacity of 3,500 tons, and a plant for producing advanced boron isotope materials with a capacity of 30 tons. Upon completion, the facility will be able to produce 11,200 tons of fluoroboron compounds, 100,000 tons of sulfates, and 3,530 tons of advanced boron isotope materials per year.
