Commissioning of the PVDF plant at Sanaifu’s Shao Wu Phase II project According to China Chemical News, recently the PVDF plant at Sanaifu’s Shao Wu Phase II project, which is part of Shanghai Huayi Group, began operations and started producing qualified products, marking a significant milestone in the trial production phase. It is reported that the second-phase project of the Sanai Fu (Shaowu) Fluorine Chemistry Industry Base is located in the Jintang Industrial Park in Shaowu City, Nanping City, Fujian Province. The construction work includes facilities for producing difluorochloroethane, perfluoroethylene, polyperfluoroethylene, as well as various supporting infrastructure and auxiliary facilities. The commissioning of the PVDF plant in Phase 2 of Shaowu fully demonstrated the close collaboration and rapid response capability of Sinopec’s production and technical teams in dealing with complex issues, and it also provided valuable experience for the commissioning of other production lines in Phase 2 of Shaowu. Currently, the PVDF production facility is operating stably, and the product quality meets the expected standards. Next, the focus will be on increasing production capacity and refining manufacturing processes, accelerating trial production in other sections, with the aim of achieving full operational capacity and compliance for the project as soon as possible.
