Project owner: Baotou Yongxin New Materials Co., Ltd ; Construction location: Within the premises of Baotou Yongxin New Materials Co., Ltd., in Jiuyuan Industrial Park, Halingger Town, Jiuyuan District, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region ; Construction contents: HFC-125 production plant and utility auxiliary systems. Further reading: HFC-125, also known as pentafluoroethane, is a colorless, non-flammable gas that remains stable at room temperature; it has important applications in various industries. In the field of refrigerants: It is a key component of third-generation refrigerants, and is often used as an essential element in mixed refrigerants. For example, it is combined with dichlorodifluoromethane in a 1:1 ratio to form the commonly used R410A refrigerant; it can also be used to create mixed substances such as R404A and R407C. Due to their environmental friendliness and high cooling efficiency, these mixed refrigerants are widely used in household air conditioners, vehicle air conditioners, refrigerators, and industrial cooling equipment, to replace traditional refrigerants such as CFC-502 and HCFC-22, which are harmful to the ozone layer. In the field of fire extinguishing: HFC-125 is a clean gas-based fire extinguishing agent that possesses electrical insulation properties; it does not cause contamination or damage to equipment during use, and is often used as a substitute for the environmentally harmful halon 1211 and halon 1301 fire extinguishing agents. It is suitable for use in chemical plants, power plants, computer rooms, boiler rooms, and other locations with high fire prevention requirements and sensitive equipment, where it can quickly extinguish flames through total flooding fire suppression. Semiconductor manufacturing sector: High-purity HFC-125 is an important etching gas in the ion etching process used in semiconductor manufacturing. During the manufacturing process, it can be mixed with other gases; by adjusting the F/C ratio of the etching gas, it is possible to control the pace of etching and deposition, thereby precisely managing key parameters such as etching depth and selectivity. This helps ensure the accuracy of etching in semiconductor components and contributes to the advancement of semiconductor manufacturing technologies. Other fields: It can also be used as a foaming agent to create a uniform bubble structure during the production of foam materials ; Can be used as relevant components for rocket propellants in the aerospace industry ; It can also be used as a carrier gas for disinfectants, helping them to work more effectively.
