Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony for Hubei Yisi New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 1,000 tons of silicon-carbon anodes per year (including 1,000 tons of porous carbon) was held in Yichang High-Tech Zone. Reportedly, the total investment in this project is approximately 205.71 million yuan. It is located in Area B of the Yaojiagang Chemical Industrial Park in Yichang, Hubei Province (Tianjiahe area), with a total land area of 40,894.17 square meters. The project involves the construction of a facility for producing silicon-carbon anodes using the CVD method; its production capacity is set at 1,000 tons per year, including 1,000 tons of porous carbon. The project construction includes: a porous carbon workshop, a silicon carbon workshop, a second silicon carbon workshop, a comprehensive warehouse, general-purpose buildings, a control room, a silane unloading station, acetylene busbars, a power distribution room, auxiliary buildings, other supporting utilities for wastewater and waste gas treatment, as well as related auxiliary facilities.
