AGC Chemical Americas will introduce a new type of high-performance fluororubber

During the 2025 Global Polymers Summit, AGC Chemicals America (AGCCA) will showcase its latest advancements in fluoropolymer technology. The leading product series is AFLAS®FFKM PM-1200, a low-viscosity, low-glass transition temperature (-9°C) grade designed specifically for demanding chemical sealing applications. In addition, AGCCA will highlight the new AFLAS FFKM SF series, a proprietary high-performance fluororubber that does not use surfactants or fluorinated polymerizing solvents. These advanced materials offer performance comparable to traditional FFKMs, while meeting the demands of cleaner and more environmentally friendly manufacturing practices. AGCCA will also showcase its full range of high-performance materials, including: the chemically resistant and electrically insulating Fluon® fluoropolymer resins; AFLAS, FEPM, and FFKM fluor elastomers suitable for extreme temperatures and corrosive chemical environments; AFLAS fluor elastomers designed to enhance durability under harsh conditions; and Fluon+™ flexible compounds that can be customized as alternatives to THVs. Thanks to their unparalleled chemical resistance and thermal stability, AGC’s materials are widely used in industries such as automotive, semiconductors, oil and gas, and energy.
