At the beginning of the new year, Sinochem Blue Sky had a successful start to the Snake Year, as its plant in Chenzhou, Hunan, capable of producing 1,000 tons of perfluoroolefins per year, began operations. Perfluoroolefins are a special type of olefin that typically exhibit high chemical and thermal stability. Due to their excellent environmental properties and etching capabilities, they are widely used in the electronics and information materials industry. With the commissioning of this 1,000-tonne-scale facility, Sinochem Blue Sky’s capacity for producing perfluoroolefins has increased to 1,200 tons per year. This is expected to change the market supply dynamics for this product and contribute to the high-quality development of the electronic information materials sector.
