On July 8, a public notice was issued regarding the acceptance for environmental impact assessment of Hunan Fubang New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project to expand its production capacity to 10,000 tons per year of lithium bis(fluorosulfonylimide). Project Name: Expansion and Renovation Project for Annual Production of 10,000 Tons of Lithium Bisfluorosulfonylimide ； Construction location: Songmu Economic Development Zone, Hengyang, Hunan ； Construction investment: 223.183 million yuan ； Construction nature: Renovation and expansion ； Construction unit: Hunan Fubang New Materials Co., Ltd ； Construction contents: (1) Build a production line with an annual output of 10,000 tons of lithium difluorosulfonylimide, to be implemented in two phases. In the first phase, a production line with an annual output of 3,000 tons of lithium difluorosulfonylimide along with its supporting facilities will be constructed; in the second phase, a production line with an annual output of 7,000 tons of lithium difluorosulfonylimide and its supporting facilities will be built ； (2) The production process and equipment for the 2,400 tons per year capacity of lithium difluorosulfonylimide, which has been established as part of the \"4,000 tons per year lithium difluorosulfonylimide expansion project\", remain unchanged ； The construction of the equipment related to the 1,600 tons/year production capacity that has not yet been built will no longer proceed. (3) The existing 35m incinerator with a processing capacity of 0.8 t/h will be demolished; all hazardous waste that was previously sent to this incinerator for disposal is now handed over to qualified entities for treatment. Hunan Fubang New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Fubang Company”) was established on August 27, 2018, with a registered capital of RMB 176.99115 million; it is a holding subsidiary of Xinzhoubang. To further meet market demands and achieve its corporate strategic goals, Fubang Company plans to carry out renovations and expansions within its existing plant site to implement a project that will enable annual production of 10,000 tons of lithium bisfluorosulfonylimide.
