It aims to increase the production capacity for fluororubber (FKM) to 4,000 tons per year, for polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) to 12,500 tons per year, for the intermediate product vinylidene fluoride (VDF) to 13,500 tons per year, and for the by-product hydrochloric acid to 25,676 tons per year. Regarding Syensqo Special Polymers (Changshu) Co., Ltd.: Syensqo Special Polymers (Changshu) Co., Ltd. is a foreign-funded enterprise under the Syensqo group that specializes in the production of special polymers. It was formerly known as Solvay Special Polymers (Changshu) Co., Ltd.; its name and shareholder information were changed in September 2025. The ownership structure is such that Syensqo Special Polymers Italy holds 90% of the shares, while Syensqo Investment Co., Ltd. holds 10% ; The company’s core products include basic specialty polymers such as ultra-fine polytetrafluoroethylene powder engineering plastics, aromatic polymers, fluororubbers, and polyvinylidene fluoride, as well as modified products like Amodel® PPA, Ryton® PPS, and Kalix® HPPA. These products are widely used in high-end industries including lithium batteries, new energy vehicles, semiconductors, aerospace, medical devices, and 5G/6G technologies.
