The energy-saving report for Yonghe Co., Ltd.’s fluorine chemical project was approved. On December 3, the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued a statement confirming that the review of the energy-saving report related to Shaowu Yonghe Jintang New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project to increase annual production of 44,000 tons of dichlorodifluoromethane and 10,000 tons of flammable substances, as well as the upgrades to its fluoropolymer production facilities, had been completed successfully. The total investment for the project is 110 million yuan. Production equipment such as distillation towers, water-alkali scrubbing towers, hydrochloric acid absorption towers, and incinerators for waste liquids and gases will be added to the existing F22/R32 units. A production line for dichlorodifluoromethane will be established, resulting in an annual production capacity of 44,000 tons of dichlorodifluoromethane (including facilities for the recovery and disposal of the by-product trifluoromethane) ； Two of the existing polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) production lines will be retrofitted flexibly; new key production equipment such as reactors, compressors, condensers, air-flow dryers, and twin-screw extruders will be installed. One flexible production line for vinylidene fluoride-tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymers (THV) and one for ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymers (ETFE) will be established. Upon reaching full production capacity, the annual output will increase by 44,000 tons of difluorochloromethane, 10,000 tons of perfluoroethylene-tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer, and 10,000 tons of ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer. The expected commissioning date is October 2026.
