On June 5, the draft environmental impact assessment report for Gansu Lihong New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.’s project for the production of fluorine-containing specialty chemicals was made public on relevant websites. The details of the project are as follows: Project name: Project for the production of fluorine-containing specialty chemicals； Construction unit: Gansu Lihong New Materials Technology Co., Ltd ； Construction location: Chemical Industry Park, Minle Ecological Industrial Park, Minle County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province ； Project nature: Expansion ； Project investment: The project is constructed in two phases, with an investment of 62 million yuan for the first phase and 58 million yuan for the second phase, resulting in a total investment of 120 million yuan ； Construction contents and product plan: Phase 1 of the project will include the construction of 2 electrolytic fluorination production workshops, 1 hydrogen fluoride storage area, 1 Class A warehouse, 1 chilled circulating water station, 1 high- and low-voltage power distribution station, 1 cabinet room for the workshop’s automatic control system, as well as various supporting facilities and equipment. It mainly involves two production lines capable of producing 300 tons per year of perfluorobutylamine and 330 tons per year of perfluorobutyryl fluoride. In the second phase of construction, one electrolytic fluorination production workshop and one synthesis reaction workshop will be built, comprising 3 production lines for an annual output of 300 tons of perfluorotripropanamine, 120 tons of trifluoroethylamine, and 250 tons of trifluoroethanol. Construction period: Phase 1 is planned from August 2026 to August 2027, August 26 ； Phase 2 is scheduled from October 2027 to February 2029.
