On March 23, the first public announcement regarding the environmental impact assessment for the wet electronics chemicals project of Hefei Sendai New Materials Co., Ltd. was made. The project details are as follows: Project name: Wet Electronic Chemicals Project ; Construction unit: Hefei Sentian New Materials Co., Ltd ; Construction site: Southeast corner at the intersection of Airport East Road and Beniu Road, Hefei Economic Development Chemical Industrial Park ; Project nature: New construction ; Construction details: The project covers an area of 72.1 mu and will be carried out in two phases. Phase 1 involves the construction of a facility with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of buffer etching solution (BOE). This includes buildings such as a comprehensive building, a R&D building, BOE production workshops, liquid ammonia storage areas, storage areas for raw materials and products, warehouses for Class A materials and hazardous waste, a utility building, a boiler room, and a machinery repair shop. Additionally, fire protection ponds, emergency ponds, initial rainwater collection tanks, container storage areas, as well as various facilities for environmental protection, safety, and fire control will be installed. The second phase of construction will enable an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid (DHF), including a DHF production facility as well as storage areas for raw materials and products. Regarding Hefei Sentian New Materials Co., Ltd.: Established in August 2025, Hefei Sentian New Materials Co., Ltd. has a registered capital of 20 million RMB. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Sentian New Materials Co., Ltd., and its registered address is located in the Xinqiao Integrated Circuit Technology Park within the Konggang Economic Development Zone of the Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone in Anhui Province. The company is engaged in the production of chemical products (excluding those that require special licenses), focusing on new material categories such as wet electronic chemicals and ultra-pure electronic chemicals. It supplies electronic chemicals to the semiconductor and integrated circuit industries, and is a specialized new materials enterprise dedicated to developing the integrated circuit industry chain in Hefei.
