For a product I am making now, due to raw material issues, the fluoride ion content in the product was measured at 1.7% after the reaction was completed. After using diatomaceous earth to remove fluoride, there was still 3000PPM. I would like to ask anyone who has similar processing experience to help me find out what method can be used to remove fluoride to reach less than 100PPM. I am waiting online. Is it gas phase or liquid phase? Try a silica gel dryer for gas phase.

Now I want to use a reaction method to remove fluoride ions to below 3000PPM. It is best to reach 1000PPM, and then choose a suitable adsorption medium for adsorption to remove fluoride ions below 100PPM. This may be feasible. The key now is to choose what kind of medium can be used for reaction, and then what kind of medium can be chosen for adsorption. The main reason is that my product is highly volatile and corrosive. Let me talk about the methods I have used, including silica gel adsorption, diatomaceous earth adsorption, calcium carbonate reaction, lime milk reaction, and calcium chloride. The reaction and activated carbon adsorption are not ideal. It can only be removed around 3000PPM and then stops. Now I use diatomaceous earth for adsorption. I have preliminary researched a plan and share it with you. I used calcium chloride to react to remove fluoride from 7000 to 1000. Then I did a good job of removing fluorine by distillation. I am still doing a small trial on the distillation.
