An external-mounted level switch is a non-contact type of level switch, commonly used for point-based level measurement, level control, and interlock alarm functions. Point-type measurement: In tank area measurements, external-mounted level switches are often used to determine whether there is liquid inside a tank by measuring the level of liquid in it, or to strictly control the liquid level within the tank. For example, in sewage pipes, the constant presence of sewage can cause corrosion of the pipes ; For example, in the case of oil transport pipelines such as those used on ships, level detection is also necessary in order to improve the efficiency of using these pipelines ; Secondly, when liquid is added to or removed from the storage tank, in order to ensure accurate control of the liquid level, external level switches are typically used. These switches allow it to be determined in real time whether the liquid level has reached the lower or upper limit, thereby preventing leaks that can occur when the level is too high, as well as avoiding the risk of too little liquid remaining in the tank when the level is too low. Level control: Another important function of the external-mounted level switch is level control. This function is what we commonly refer to as a level switch; it sends out alarm signals and simultaneously shuts off the liquid inlet signal ; The alarm signal is not sent, and the liquid discharge signal is also turned off, thereby ensuring the normal and stable operation of the device ; For chain alarm functions, external-mounted level switches are also often used in conjunction with alarms from other devices; this enables rapid response and reduces the need for manual maintenance. The externally mounted level switches currently produced can be widely applied in industries such as petroleum, petrochemicals, chemicals, storage and transportation, military fuel depots, power generation, pharmaceuticals, and new energy.
