The participation awareness of all employees is the most fundamental guiding principle in implementing TPM activities. From the management level down to the frontline employees, there is a culture that emphasizes focusing on small tasks; everyone regards the company’s survival and development as their own responsibility, and they actively participate in various activities such as TPM. This sense of participation reflects each employee’s strong sense of accountability, which serves as a reliable guarantee for product quality. (2) Establishing a TPM management philosophy. The ultimate goal of carrying out TPM activities is not merely to maintain equipment; rather, it is to make the workplace safer and more reliable through the participation of all employees and their collective efforts. This approach helps to eliminate factors that affect production efficiency and quality control, provides employees with a clean, orderly, and pleasant working environment, leaves a positive impression on customers and builds their confidence, and fosters a strong corporate culture that encourages employees to contribute to the company’s sustainable development toward a common goal. This is a very important management concept. (3) Fostering employees’ self-discipline* habits. One of the key principles of TPM activities is to \"start with small things, start with oneself, and do every task carefully and thoroughly.\" This principle helps employees develop the habit of doing good deeds and the habit of adhering to all established rules and protocols. (4) Requiring employees to become versatile talents: Traditional production processes rely on a detailed division of labor; for example, operators are only skilled in operating machines. If a machine breaks down, production comes to a halt until maintenance workers fix it, which inevitably affects the company’s production volume and economic efficiency. These concepts of “zero management” require all managers and employees in a company to adopt a mindset of “zero errors” and strive for a style of work that is perfect. Strategies for achieving TPM in our country: Although TPM activities began as equipment maintenance efforts focused on the production site, their basic principles and concepts have far exceeded those of the original TPM framework, possessing a rich set of implications. Therefore, the promotion and implementation of TPM in our country hold significant practical importance for enhancing the competitiveness of our manufacturing sector, improving the work style of employees in Chinese enterprises, and even raising the overall level of management in the country. To promote and implement TPM activities across our country at an early date, efforts should be intensified in the following areas. (1) Senior management in enterprises should change their mindset and personally organize the promotion of TPM activities. One of the reasons for the sustained development of the Samsung Group is that its leaders attach great importance to TPM activities conceptually and actively promote them. At present, in our country, there is a lack of awareness regarding TPM activities among people at all levels, from the leadership to corporate employees; for example, there is a disdain for \"cleaners\" and neglect of the environmental hygiene within companies. Therefore, it is important to change mindsets, especially among senior management, who need to realize as soon as possible that implementing TPM is an essential activity in corporate management and quality control in China. They must also take personal charge of organizing the implementation process and lead all employees in carrying out TPM in a thorough and open manner in order to achieve the desired results. (2) Strengthen TPM education to raise the sense of participation among the entire population. At present, the overall competence of employees in Chinese enterprises is low, and their basic qualities are poor; phenomena such as spitting everywhere, littering cigarette butts, wasting food, and polluting the environment are common. Many employees have developed habits of laziness and carelessness; they tend to complain, and when problems arise they are unwilling, reluctant, or afraid to take action, showing a very weak sense of participation. These will inevitably affect the existence and development of enterprises. Therefore, corporate leaders should reassess the importance of education and training from a strategic perspective, increase investment in these areas, focus on the education and training of employees, promote TPM activities widely, raise employees’ sense of participation, help them develop good habits of taking initiative and exercising self-discipline, encourage them to fulfill their responsibilities and duties diligently, pay attention to hygiene, and optimize the working environment. In fact, only when everyone regards TPM activities as a *habit and as part of their daily work can a company have hope for growth and a promising future. (3) TPM initiatives should be vigorously promoted across the country to improve overall management standards. Many foreign experts who have visited our country believe that many of our enterprises lack civilized production practices; they have repeatedly emphasized that without such practices, it is impossible to achieve high product quality. At present, the inability to carry out civilized production is a common problem among many enterprises in our country. TPM activities are an important part of civilized production. This article argues that, in order to rapidly improve the quality of products and the overall management level of China’s manufacturing industry, it is imperative to widely promote TPM activities as a regular activity for all members of society, to clean up the environment, and to create a favorable environment for quality improvement – these are urgent tasks in China’s quality management efforts. (4) Through TPM activities, further improve employees’ professional skills and teamwork spirit. Traditional mass production leads to a highly detailed division of labor, with employees mastering only one or two types of skills. However, in an era where customer demands are changing rapidly, economies of scale are under threat, and this highly detailed division of labor is also being challenged. On the other hand, with the advancement of science and technology, production processes have become increasingly complex, and individual efforts are no longer sufficient to address these challenges; therefore, collaboration among various specialized technical teams and functional departments is necessary. Therefore, for the long-term development of enterprises, our country must persist in TPM initiatives, strengthen education and training for employees, continuously improve their professional skills and broaden their knowledge, foster a spirit of cooperation among them, and enhance their overall competence. (5) In education and practice, it is essential to adopt the TPM concept of \"zero management.\" For a long time, there has been a perception among corporate leaders and employees in our country that defects are inevitable, and there is a lack of desire to strive for perfection; this has directly led to poor product quality and low competitiveness in the manufacturing industry. Therefore, China’s manufacturing industry has completely shed traditional and backward mindsets such as \"people always make mistakes,\" and adopted a \"zero-error\" mindset that emphasizes avoiding mistakes and achieving perfection. In particular, senior managers should cultivate leadership skills for \"zero-based management,\" develop a strong belief in and determination to implement such management, and then provide all employees with the understanding and motivation to carry out zero-based management activities.
