According to a report from Sinochem New Network, recently, the People’s Government of Quanzhou City in Fujian Province approved the \"Overall Plan for Quanhuai Petrochemical Industrial Park (2025–2035)\” and the \"Industrial Development Plan for Quanhuai Petrochemical Industrial Park (2025–2035)\”. The two plans focus on the core businesses of chemical new materials and high-end fine chemicals, and outline a development direction characterized by \"greenness, low carbon emissions, safety, and efficiency.\" Efforts will be focused on optimizing the industrial layout and spatial structure; by extending, complementing, and strengthening industrial chains, leading enterprises with advanced manufacturing technologies and strong driving effects, as well as high-quality projects, will be introduced to drive the transformation of the industries in the park toward higher levels of sophistication, intelligence, and sustainability. Safety and environmental protection are the core bottom lines for planning and implementation. The relevant officials of the park said that in the future, the park will enforce strict requirements regarding environmental and safety standards, strengthen supervision throughout the entire process, encourage enterprises to adopt clean production methods and energy-saving technologies, improve the efficiency of resource and energy utilization, and work together to achieve carbon reduction, pollution control, increased green spaces, and economic growth. At the same time, efforts will be accelerated to improve supporting facilities, utility systems, and emergency response mechanisms for safety and environmental protection, and a risk prevention and control system will be established throughout the entire process of planning, construction, and operation.
