Abnormality in the feed heater of the tri-effect tower for furfural waste oil

In the furfural waste oil system, the temperature cannot be increased from the second-effect tower to the third-effect tower. It involves a floating-head type 4-pass heat exchanger that needs to be heated from 180 degrees to 217 degrees; however, there is currently a difference of around 8–9 degrees. Medium-pressure steam at 2.5 MPa is used as the heat source. Water enters at the outlet side, while steam at 1.0 MPA enters the steam pipeline network at the upper layer. The hot water from the lower layer, after undergoing heat exchange, also enters the pipeline network. Half a month ago, due to a leak in the inlet fitting of the tube sheet, it was repaired, but still the temperature could not be increased. There is concern that there might be a short circuit in the tube sheet, so the tube sheet was disassembled and its partitions were repaired. Yet even after this, the temperature still would not increase. A solution is needed
If the temperature of the steam condensate tank is high enough, eliminating the issue of heat transfer temperature difference, then it is most likely a problem with the equipment itself. It could be that the equipment has coked, or there might be a short circuit on the cold side. Coking is likely to occur.
