Internal structure of the distillation tower top reflux drum

The reflux tanks at the top of the distillation columns in hydrogenation units have liquid levels and interface levels. Is there any kind of filter between the water pack that indicates the interface level and the tank body, or is there nothing between the water pack and the upper part of the tank? Also, on the gauge seen in the field usually, is the upper part of the interface empty or filled with oil? I’m not very familiar with this equipment; could everyone please help me understand it? Thank you.
Such things should come with equipment flowcharts and schematic diagrams; usually, these are indicated on the flowcharts. It would be better to upload a picture so that we can discuss it.
