The reflux flow has been set to its maximum level; the reflux temperature is normal, as is the top pressure. The bottom temperature of the tower and the feed temperature are also normal. The problem is that the top temperature won’t drop, and the liquid level in the reflux tank is full. There’s indeed no problem: the reflux temperature is 47 degrees, and the flow rate is set at its maximum value; the tower pressure is 1.7 MPa – all of these values are within the normal range. The issue is that the top temperature won’t go down, being about ten degrees higher than normal, which is quite strange
