Our company needs a liquid ammonia pump with a flow rate of only 0.7 m3/h, and it must be completely leak-free; For magnetic pumps and shielded pumps, the flow rate is too low. Can the vane pump meet the requirements? Are there any other pumps available? Can the YAB-type liquid ammonia pump meet the requirements?

It is recommended to use a full PTFE diaphragm pump with a leak alarm

It’s a diaphragm metering pump; the diaphragm is made of polytetrafluoroethylene, and it’s hydraulically driven. We use it here to transport monomethylamine, and it works very well.
A double-shell magnetic pump is used, with a flow rate range of 0.1–1000 cubic meters. It features a dual-layer isolation sleeve system: if one layer fails, the second layer continues to provide protection, triggering an alarm as a safety measure. It depends on whether you will use it at low temperatures or at normal temperatures – shielded pumps are designed for low temperatures and have a relatively low flow rate. For normal temperature applications, Japanese reverse-circulation pumps can be used; however, the head requirement cannot be too high (anything over 100 is considered high)
