With an energy savings rate of 26.8%, the 10kV high-pressure circulating water pump system of Guangzheng Energy has passed the acceptance test!

Recently, Guangzheng Energy’s energy-saving renovation project for three high-pressure circulating water pump systems in a chemical plant in Gansu Province was approved. These systems have a rated power of 500 kW and a rated voltage of 10 kV. Under the same production conditions, the system achieved an energy-saving rate of 26.8%, resulting in annual savings of approximately 3.45 million kWh of electricity. This project represents yet another benchmark case for Guangzheng Energy in the field of energy-saving renovations for high-pressure motor drive systems. The motor used in this project is a variable-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor excited by neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnets. The rotor’s electromagnetic structure is of the built-in type, and the stator windings are made up of pre-formed coils. The motor maintains an efficiency of over 93% within a continuous speed range of 30%–120%, with an efficiency of 97% at its rated operating point. In addition, the pump system associated with this project has a rated flow rate of 2500 m3/h. The new three-dimensional hydraulic model developed using CFD fluid simulation technology achieves a rated hydraulic efficiency of 90%, with an operating efficiency of over 85% under all conditions within the speed regulation range.
