Are there any requirements regarding the mesh size of the inlet filter for liquid oxygen pumps?
The filter screens at the pump inlet are used to remove larger mechanical impurities, so their precision is not very high; generally, a mesh size of 20–100 is sufficient
Determined by combining the net positive suction head and the clearance at the inlet ring inside the pump
Depending on the requirements of the main pump, some require the installation of a filter while others do not.
