Are there any requirements for the safety distance between the pump and the power switch?

I had an expert inspect it today, and they said that the switch on our pump is located too close to the pump itself, not meeting the required safety distance. Does anyone know which standard this refers to?
It’s meaningless~ Check whether the pump is leak-free and whether the switch is an explosion-proof one~ There should be an appropriate distance between the switch and the pump equipment; this distance is not a safety margin in the sense of safety~
This post was last edited by 1204045818 on 2019-4-11 at 17:07. A safety margin is necessary; pumps can be made leak-free, but pipes, valves, and gaskets cannot be made leak-free. Once it is leaked, a certain distance is available to ensure the pump can be manually shut down on site.
If it’s said by an expert, then it makes sense. The switch is too close to the pump; when the pump leaks, water can spill onto the switch and cause malfunction. There is no mandatory requirement for this; follow the leader’s instructions.
