Recently, the pressure of the circulating water in the workshop has been too low, so it was decided to use two pumps in series. However, when both pumps are turned on, the outlet pipelines of the pumps vibrate severely. What is causing this? It’s fine to run just one pump. Wasn’t the pipeline vibration that severe before when 2 pumps were operated in parallel?
The current and flow rate can be adjusted by the opening degree of the pump’s outlet valve. Let’s take another look at the effect.
I think it’s cavitation; the pump with a higher flow rate (or better pumping efficiency) should be placed at the front to prevent cavitation. Or try reducing the opening of the second pump outlet valve and see.
