Disassembly, inspection, and training for Imperial shield pumps. It’s not a luxury chemical plant company; we purchased a large quantity of items. Since there are many new employees here, the management arranged for us to learn how to disassemble and inspect them*. A brand new pump! ! !

The maintenance of shielded pumps requires a high level of technical expertise; doing the disassembly and assembly oneself might make the maintenance process a bit easier, I guess:D
Personally, I think it’s similar to a magnetic pump; the only difference is the type of motor used.
The imperial shield pumps are quite good, belonging to the same tier as Hammett and Nikkiso. It’s great that your management has this awareness and arranges for new employees to disassemble the equipment and measure its components. Like it!

How to ensure the accurate relative position of the two bearings during the installation of a shielded pump? Wouldn’t it be better if the two sliding bearings of a magnetic pump were installed on the same bearing housing, with their alignment ensured by precision machining?

We also use Empire’s shielded pumps at our project site; they can withstand a pressure of 160 kilograms.
The bearings of a canned pump are also the bearings of the pump’s motor. The bearing housings for these bearings are installed at both ends of the motor; these housing units have alignment platforms, while the motor has stop features. The clearance between the alignment platforms and the stop features should not exceed 2 threads, and the concentricity error between the stop features at both ends of the motor should also not exceed 2 threads. The design and manufacturing precision is quite high.
