Everyone: Can you see the pressure transmitter at the outlet of the centrifugal pump? Why is there mostly none or no such thing? Flow rate and liquid level are the main monitoring methods; why isn’t outlet pressure included? Is it due to technical difficulties or something else? I hope everyone can discuss it
Is there none? I have quite a few pressure transmitters in the outlet pipelines here~
They all have them; maybe what’s installed isn’t a pressure transmitter but just an ordinary pressure gauge
Both flow rate and pressure should be available; what do you mean by liquid level? Is there a level gauge installed at the pump outlet?

This post was last edited by ylb913 on 2017-5-1 06:21. When the pressure at the pump inlet remains relatively stable, the pressure at the outlet of the centrifugal pump is constant for a given flow rate.
For circulating water pumps, local pressure gauges are commonly installed at the pump outlet; flow meters are rare. Flow meters are usually found at the inlet to a certain workshop (typically for fresh water), but I have never seen them used for circulating water. For some processes, it is required to install flow meters and pressure gauges on-site; ordinary pumps already come equipped with such devices. As for the pressure transducer you mentioned, it is also necessary due to process requirements
It refers to the change in acupressure; why is it absent in most cases? It’s not a pressure gauge.
Is it feasible to install a pressure transmitter at the outlet of the pneumatic pump? The fluctuations are a bit large.
An on-site pressure gauge is usually installed at the pump outlet; a remote pressure gauge is necessary depending on the actual conditions, and it is not required if there is no need for it. When the pump is in operation, the control room only needs to monitor the flow rate and current.
