Material selection for pumps

The medium is gasoline; can QT500 be used as the material for a double-suction pump? What else should be considered when choosing a machine seal? Thank you! :)
Gasoline is primarily composed of hydrocarbons; ductile iron is theoretically feasible, though it has not been used in practice. Generally, stainless steel is used. As for sealing, 52 collection is the preferred option. It also depends on how bold the owner and supplier are – single-sealing methods have indeed been used before
