What kind of pump is this? Is it multi-level? Thank you
This is a multi-stage centrifugal pump; it can be recognized by its structure of several pump casings stacked on top of each other. The characteristic of multi-stage pumps is that they use multiple impellers working in series to push liquid to a higher head, and they are commonly used in water supply systems or under high-pressure conditions. .

You can understand that a pump used to connect two circulating water pumps has little advantage apart from its higher head; in fact, the efficiency of such a pump is quite low.
