On April 7, the Yueneng propylene oxide project in Shaanxi reached a key construction milestone: the project’s first large-scale core equipment, the dehydration tower, was successfully lifted into place, laying a solid foundation for the steady progress of subsequent construction work. As the core and critical equipment in the propylene oxide plant, the dehydration tower has a net weight of 23.3 tons, a diameter of 2 meters, and an overall height of 29.92 meters. For this lifting operation, a construction plan was adopted that used a 400-ton crawler crane as the main lifting device, with an 80-ton truck crane providing assistance to ensure a safe, stable, precise, and efficient lifting process throughout.
