Under the strategic guidance of Harbin Industrial Investment Group’s efforts to expand into overseas markets, its subsidiary Harbin Air Conditioner Co., Ltd. has actively engaged in the Belt and Road Initiative, seizing opportunities for international capacity cooperation. Recently, it successfully signed contracts for two energy projects in Kazakhstan and Iraq. This breakthrough not only confirms Harbin Air Conditioner’s core technical capabilities, but also reflects the continuous deepening and significant success of Harbin Industrial Investment Group’s overseas business expansion. Recently, Ha Air Conditioning received a notice of award for the supply of air-cooled heat exchangers for the Latakia Gas Processing Plant project from the Iraq branch of China National Petroleum Engineering Corporation. Located in the Zubair area of Basra Province, Iraq, this project is an important facility in the field of natural gas processing in Iraq. This project became Haier Air Conditioner’s first order this year with a contract value of over 10 million dollars. As agreed in the project terms, Ha Air Conditioning will provide comprehensive services covering design, manufacturing, inspection, packaging, and transportation for the air-cooled heat exchangers. The owner of the Latawi gas processing plant project is Iraq’s **Gas Company**, with China National Petroleum Engineering Corporation’s Iraq branch acting as the general contractor. The implementation of this project will significantly enhance natural gas processing capacity in Iraq and facilitate the upgrading of local energy infrastructure. In the Kazakhstan market, KazAir recently won a contract for the air cooler project of the ethane cracking unit in the second phase of the integrated natural gas chemical plant in the Atyrau region, further strengthening its market position in Central Asia. Ha Air Conditioning will strictly adhere to technical standards and quality commitments to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of its products, providing solid support for the smooth progress of these two projects. It will serve the Belt and Road Initiative through practical actions and continue to write a new chapter in overseas cooperation.
