Internal leakage of lubricant in the Roots blower

Rotary vane blowers often suffer from bearing overheating and damage; upon disassembly, it is found that there is a lack of oil. There is no leakage of lubricant, but there are oil stains in the air ducts, which may indicate an internal leakage of lubricant. What could be the reasons for this? Is the reason for the gas seal installation or the blockage of the inlet silencer? Which contributes more to it?
The first thing to consider is the issue of oil seals, such as installation problems, wear and tear, and poor quality. If the suction pressure at the inlet is too low, resulting in a brief vacuum, this can also cause the oil seal to leak. Poor ventilation of the oil tank, leading to pressure buildup, can likewise result in oil seal leakage.
It is recommended to look for the cause from the following aspects: 1. There is a plug in the middle compartment; open it to check if oil is leaking, in order to determine whether the oil seal is leaking. 2. Does the oil tank have cooling pipes? Is there a possibility that oil has seeped into the water? 3. Is the gap of the air seal within the required range?
