The exposed parts on a crane can pose hazards even when it is at rest; for example, the sharp edges protruding from the crane’s metal components can cause injuries if not handled carefully. Furthermore, even a smooth platform on a crane can cause accidents such as tools slipping or people falling. 3. When a crane is operating under abnormal conditions, sudden failures can also turn it into a source of hazard, such as an engine with excessively high temperatures or electrical components that are leaking electricity.
