Dear colleagues, recently the high-pressure flanges of our unit’s hydrocracking units have been leaking when subjected to a pressure of 40 kilograms. The gaskets used are of 321 and 304 types, but these do not prevent leakage even under pressure. We seek your advice

Measure the flange spacing to check if it is misaligned; it’s advisable to apply high-temperature sealant, and the bolt torque must be correct

The original poster is referring to general leaks. . . So it’s probably not something like uneven sealing surfaces that are usually a concern. It is recommended to consider it from a design perspective.
Is the widespread leakage a problem with the quality of the pad, or is it because the pad model is not the correct one?
