We have produced a large number of units, ranging in size from 4 L to 50 L. To briefly describe their structure: they are jacketed and consist of two layers; the inner tube is wrapped with insulating material, and the space between the inner and outer tubes is treated with liquid nitrogen and evacuated. After fabrication, helium leak testing is performed!
Is it more or less the same as a mini tank?
Most storage tanks are single-layered, with this interlayer providing insulation material and a vacuum as a double layer of protection. I’ll find some drawings another day and can upload them
