The turbidity of the domestic water used in our factory is high after pretreatment; I’m not sure what the reason is
Turbidity refers to the degree of obstruction caused by suspended particles in water to the passage of light. Suspended particles in water generally include soil, sand grains, fine organic and inorganic substances, plankton, microorganisms, and colloidal materials. The turbidity of water is related not only to the amount of suspended substances in it, but also to their size, shape, and refractive index. Generally, sand filtration followed by carbon filtration is sufficient; I’m not sure how your factory handles it – what are the levels of SS and COD in the incoming water?
