I have been considering upgrading the technology of my air compressor recently; what aspects should be modified primarily to achieve energy savings?
Does the anti-surge valve have an opening degree? Is the rich gas compressor catalytic or coking? Is it a two-to-one reflux loop or a two-to-two, one-to-one reflux loop? What control system is being used currently? Is the compressor currently controlled at a fixed speed or with adjustable speed? Clearly stating the question will help everyone analyze it together.
