As the title suggests, when selecting materials, I couldn’t find any relevant specifications for ceramic fiber modules; I’m not sure if there are any official standard guidelines for choosing such materials.
Ceramic fiber modules are essentially ceramic fiber blankets folded into quilt-like sections, which are then assembled together; the material can actually comply with the standard specifications for ceramic fiber blankets as outlined in 3003
Both of these standards contain descriptions related to ceramic fiber modules; you need to read them carefully. The integral module is another type of lining; it was originally introduced from abroad and had a specific name. After this technology became available in China, to avoid using the same name as the foreign one, the term “integral module” was coined.
Ceramic fiber modules: These are made of ceramic fiber cotton combined with a binder; depending on the operating temperature, fibers of different specifications are used, and these materials are then processed mechanically into the desired dimensions. They are commonly used in equipment manufactured abroad or imported from abroad. Ceramic fiber folded blocks; generally, spray-or-spinning needle-punched mats with a thickness of 20–25 mm are folded to achieve the desired thickness. Moreover, fixing ceramic fiber modules or folded blocks requires metal or ceramic anchors; generally, metal anchors are needed for temperatures below 1200 degrees, while ceramic anchors are required for temperatures above 1200 degrees. In recent years, domestic manufacturers have also begun producing ceramic fiber modules, and domestic producers are capable of manufacturing ceramic fiber folded blocks as well. Density: It generally depends on the operating temperature and whether a resistance strip is used; it is 200 Kg/m3 for temperatures below 1000 degrees, 240 Kg/M3 for temperatures between 1000 degrees and 1200 degrees, and 240 Kg/M3 for temperatures above 1200 degrees
