How to tune the PID of a gas compressor

Thread Content

Our factory now has a gas pressurizer. Frequency conversion for pressure control is required after pressurization. Then the motor is controlled via frequency conversion to ultimately achieve the desired pressure after compression. PID does not require frequency conversion tuning. Add a digital display from Nanjing Youbei as well. But there’s a given value inside. I’m not quite sure what concept this given value represents. And how to tune the PID?

The given value is the pressure level you want to achieve for control. PID refers to the values of proportion, integration, and differentiation that are used to stabilize control when there is a difference between the desired pressure and the actual pressure; for setting PID values, please refer to relevant documentation
