Based on my experience, the classification is as follows: Class 1 – High temperature and radiation; HRSGs that utilize convective heat transfer with high-temperature flue gases, and those with fin structures, all fall within the category of boilers； Class 2: Conventional air-cooled finned tubes, belonging to the air cooler ACC ； Class 3: Medium and low temperature heat transfer tube sheet structures, belonging to heat exchangers HE; Class 4: Air preheaters – which may also include some heat pipes, shell-and-tube exchangers, and plate heat exchangers.
