I am now in my senior year, majoring in Process Control (formerly Chemical Engineering Machinery). Next week, the university is organizing a field trip to a petrochemical plant in Beijing. I am quite interested in the field of chemistry, so I plan to work in this area after graduation. I would like to ask my seniors what aspects I should pay attention to in real-time, and what knowledge I should learn more about (since the instructor in charge isn’t familiar with this area, they won’t understand either if I ask them). :victory::victory::victory:

If I go to work in this field in the future, more specifically, what aspect will it be? Equipment design? Manufacturing? Maintenance? Still sales? If you go to a petrochemical plant, I think most of the work involves maintenance. . . But you can ask specifically what kind of jobs graduates from chemical engineering end up doing. . . It seems that if one goes to a petrochemical plant, what can be learned is mainly the appearance of the equipment, how it is actually used, as well as things like the pressure, temperature, and medium involved with the equipment. . . Remember, safety first. . .
