Is there any difference in the installation positions of the auxiliary impeller of a canned pump on the shaft? What is the function of each component installed at the front and rear of the rotor, and what are the differences between them?
Different structures result in different rotor self-balancing capabilities. The installation position of the auxiliary impeller is related to the pressure at its respective lubrication points, in order to increase the pressure of the circulating fluid. Installing it at the front and rear can change the direction of the circulating coolant.
Is it also related to the volatility of the medium being transported?
I have seen auxiliary impellers installed at the rear of the rotor, used for the cooling and lubrication of the motor~~
The shielded pumps used in our factory, manufactured by Nippon Seiki, are all installed beside the pump impeller to enable forced-circulation cooling. As for the difference between installing it at the front or back, it can reach the 2nd floor.
