No special requirements are imposed on the personnel, and then the calibration process can begin. If calibration and external calibration services are to be provided, much more preparation is required. Generally speaking, this involves both hardware and software aspects. In terms of hardware, the laboratory used for carrying out calibration work must meet certain environmental requirements such as temperature, humidity, vibration, and electromagnetic interference levels. The metrological standards used for calibration must also be established and pass the evaluations conducted by the higher-level metrological authorities; the specific evaluation requirements can be found in JJF1033-2008 \"Specifications for the Evaluation of Metrological Standards\" ； Software includes, on the one hand, various management systems such as laboratory management systems, personnel management systems, measurement standard management systems, and record-keeping system; on the other hand, it involves the personnel who carry out the calibration tasks. For each task, at least two persons must hold certification as calibrators for that specific task, with such certifications being issued by the local quality inspection authorities after evaluation. To carry out mandatory inspection tasks, it is also necessary to apply to the higher-level quality inspection department; only after obtaining authorization can such tasks be carried out within the authorized scope.
