Is the tank vibrating heavily? Generally speaking, it is normal for pipes to vibrate, and vibration also occurs when the equipment is in use; however, the vibration should not be too severe. If the vibration is excessive, then the pipes need to be reinforced.
Vibration occurs, but it should not be excessive. The reason is probably the large vibrations from the equipment, which affect the buffer tank. The buffer tank has a low design strength, that is, insufficient stiffness; the baffle plates inside the tank are weld-separated, and the tank is designed to be too small. The gas impact inside is too strong. There are several issues with pipeline fixation.
There is vibration; in the case of reciprocating machines, pulsating vibration is particularly noticeable. Normal vibration is acceptable. You can check the calculations provided by the original compressor designer, as well as the requirements regarding vibration for pipes, auxiliary equipment, etc.

I have one more question: The issue I’m facing at the moment is that a buffer tank is designed at each of the inlet and outlet ports of the compressor, with nitrogen at room temperature being used as the medium. The client wants to add baffles inside the tanks in order to prevent pulsating vibrations caused by the gas. Since I had never seen an example of baffles being added to a buffer tank for a purely gaseous medium before, I raised the question above. 1. Since I saw in your answer a mention of the issue of weld cracks on the baffles inside the tank, I was wondering whether this refers to welding several baffles inside the tank in order to increase the resistance to gas flow, thereby reducing the impact of the gas on the outlet of the buffer tank? 2.
