DBB valve dimensions designed per ASME and API: Inlet 2" x Bore 1" x Outlet 2", Bleed size 1/2", rating 150#. So, for this Bore 1“, what size should the hole be? 33.4, 25.4 – are these the hole sizes corresponding to a certain series of wall thicknesses Sch, or are they other values?
I’m afraid asking too casually might make you think I’m just being casual; P I lean towards 25.4mm.
It’s pointless to ask me; if you ask me about petrochemical regulations, I can at least look up some information and answer you; P
I’m not in the chemical industry; why do I need to know about petrochemical regulations? Wait for the valve manufacturer to respond; there’s no rush to resolve it. :handshake
For valve manufacturers, 1 inch corresponds to DN25

Isn’t that still the nominal inner diameter, equivalent to 1”, or 25.4 mm?
34.5 paired with a 33.4 mm steel pipe, that is, a 1\" steel pipe. The main issue here is determining whether what the client needs are 1\" holes or pipes with 1\" holes. I previously supplied a batch of fittings and flanges to Shenhua Ningmei; some of those flange covers required such 1\" holes, and this issue was discussed as well. In the end, the products were manufactured to a size of 34.5 mm, corresponding to the 1\" pipe
Bro, it has nothing to do with the size of the pipe; it’s a flanged valve. This refers to the holes and shrinkages inside the valve.
