Is the bubble point the flash point? If not, what is the difference between the two?
Bubble point: The pressure at which the first bubbles begin to separate from the liquid phase at a constant temperature, or the temperature at which the first bubbles begin to separate from the liquid phase at a constant pressure. The flash point is the temperature at which a fuel, when heated in a container of specified design and its volatile gases mix with the air near the liquid surface, reaches a concentration sufficient to be ignited by a spark. The concepts of the two are different.
Are these two related? Perhaps a little, as both are related to temperature
