In the selection control, why is output used to determine high and low? How to determine whether to choose high or low?
The choice between high and low is determined based on different process requirements; it varies depending on the terminals being connected. In some cases, it is determined by the PV value, while in other cases it is based on the output, similar to the opening degree of a valve
Whether to choose a high or low setting should be closely related to the process flow and control requirements; each case needs to be analyzed individually, as there is no universal answer.
To prevent tempering, the output of the furnace outlet temperature controller is selected in priority over the output of the fuel gas pressure controller. I understand the purpose of selective control, but I’m not sure about using outputs for comparison and high selectors?
This question shouldn’t be difficult; why isn’t anyone discussing it? ?
